Winding through the colourful, cobbled hills of Montmartre is the ultimate romantic vision of Paris. Imagine strolling just fourteen minutes from the Sacré-Cœur and right into your charming apartment. Set back in the heart of this iconic neighbourhood, in a beautiful 1860s Haussmann building, it’s hard to imagine a more typically Parisian abode. The interiors feel incredibly warm, traditional, yet also extremely sophisticated. Antique furniture sits comfortably on original wooden floors, and the marble fireplace is ready to light up the lounge (one of two in the home). It’s not often that we put a bathroom in such high esteem – its marble sink and rainfall walk-in shower just a few of the highlights. After exploring every corner of this apartment, it’s time to explore the area. Your locale is awash with bars, cafés, boutiques, and galleries. But a six-minute walk away, you can discover the entire city from the Lamarck - Caulaincourt metro stop.

Home truths

The lift is fairly small, so prepare for a squeeze if you've got a lot of luggage – the apartment is on the first floor

The apartment is not equipped with air conditioning, but a fan will be provided instead

There is a sofa bed in one of the two lounges, but we don't really recommend this home for more than two adults (kids could sleep on the sofa bed though)

If you're bringing the whole family, your host can provide a high chair and a cot upon request
